Improve My Prompt

Give your prompt a clear structure so an AI chat understands it better. Your wording is kept as-is.

This tool restructures your prompt with a fixed format — it does not rewrite your words with AI. Nothing you type is sent anywhere.

What Improve My Prompt does

Improve My Prompt gives an existing prompt a clear structure so an AI chat understands it better. You paste in the prompt you already have, choose what it is for — Writing, Learning, Work, Creative or Everyday task — and choose how the answer should look, such as keeping the original format, a step-by-step guide, a bullet list, a short paragraph or a checklist. The tool then wraps your wording in a fixed structure. Your wording is kept as-is: the tool restructures your prompt with a fixed format and does not rewrite your words with AI, and nothing you type is sent anywhere, as the note under the tool explains.

When to use it

Use it when you already have a prompt but the answers keep coming back vague or off-topic, or when a single-line request does not give the chat tool enough to work with. It is also useful before you reuse a prompt you wrote quickly: adding a purpose and an answer format makes the request clearer without changing what you meant to ask. If you do not have a prompt yet, start with the AI Prompt Builder instead, which builds one from a task description.

Example input and output

Example input: “Write about healthy eating”, for Writing, with the answer format set to Bullet list. The tool produces a structured prompt along these lines: “You are a helpful assistant for writing. Task: Write about healthy eating. Instructions: 1. Focus only on the task above. 2. Be clear, specific and practical. 3. Use simple language a beginner can follow. Output format: Bullet list.” The full result also reminds the chat tool to check that the answer matches the task, and suggests details you can add yourself, such as who the answer is for, how long it should be, and one example of a good answer.

Limitations

The tool adds structure; it does not fix a vague prompt on its own. If the original wording leaves out important details, those details will still be missing, and the tool will not rewrite or expand your words with AI. You still need to add the audience, length and examples yourself where they matter, and you should still check the answer you receive before relying on it, especially for facts.
