AI Image Prompt Builder

Turn a simple idea into a detailed image prompt you can paste into any image generator.

This tool assembles your image prompt in your browser from your choices. Nothing you type is sent anywhere.

What the AI Image Prompt Builder does

The AI Image Prompt Builder turns a simple idea into a detailed image prompt that you can paste into any image generator. You start with your idea, then choose a style — Photorealistic, Illustration, 3D render, Minimal flat, Vintage film or Anime — a shape (aspect ratio) of 1:1 square, 16:9 wide, 9:16 tall or 4:3, and lighting, such as Natural daylight, Golden hour, Studio light, Soft morning light or Dramatic light. You can also add extra details of your own. The tool then assembles those choices into a single prompt in your browser. Nothing you type is sent anywhere, as the note under the tool explains.

When to use it

Use it when you know what image you want but a one-line description is not giving you the result you had in mind, for example for a blog header, a social media post or a presentation visual. Choosing the shape up front helps match where the image will be used — a wide shape for a header, a tall shape for a portrait layout — and naming the style and lighting gives the generator more to work with than the idea alone. For text prompts rather than images, use the AI Prompt Builder or Improve My Prompt instead.

Example input and output

Example input: Idea — A cozy bookshop on a rainy evening; Style — Photorealistic; Shape — 16:9 wide; Lighting — Golden hour; Extra details — Warm lamps, bookshelves, a cat by the window. The tool produces this prompt: “A cozy bookshop on a rainy evening, photorealistic style, golden hour, highly detailed, clean composition, aspect ratio 16:9 wide. Warm lamps, bookshelves, a cat by the window.” You can copy that result and paste it into the image generator of your choice.

Limitations

The tool builds a prompt; it does not generate an image itself. The final picture still depends on the image generator you paste the prompt into, and different generators interpret style, lighting and detail differently, so the same prompt can give different results in different tools. The wording also cannot guarantee that a generator will follow every detail, so you may need to adjust the idea or details and try again, and you should always check the finished image before publishing it.
